KIDS Relying On Christ our King (Kids Rock) is a kid-centered, fun, safe and secure atmosphere with small group activities and relevant Bible teaching.

We want kids to understand that Jesus is an integral part of their life as they grow “in wisdom, stature, in favor with God and man”. (Luke 2:52) Our ministry focuses on spiritual, relational, physical and mental needs of the children. All programming is designed to encourage growth in these four areas. Heartland Kids Rock makes ministry to kids a top priority that is evidenced by the increasing number of kids attending and their eagerness to come back.

Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and various outreach events are also a dynamic integral part of our ministry to children. Our children's ministry is a cooperative effort between the church and home to effectively reach the children of our community with the message of Jesus. We also realize there will be some homes without spiritual leadership and it is our desire to equip children in spiritual growth and develop lifestyles that reflect Jesus as Lord of their lives so they may impact the world around them.
