Discovering Spiritual Maturity 201 This class is required for all members who seek to serve in a leadership capacity. The purpose of this class is to build a foundation for spiritual maturity in members. The focus of the class is on the Four Basic Habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. The four habits are Bible study, prayer, tithing, and fellowship. This class will equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits and explain the tools you need to continue these habits. Discovering My Ministry 301 Our ministry is determined by our S.H.A.P.E. This class will help us understand how God equips each of us for ministry through s piritual gifts, h eart, a bilities, p ersonality, and e xperiences. You will discover how God shaped you for ministry and how you can serve at Heartland. Discovering My Life Mission 401 The basis for this class: 1) We are created to fulfill God's purpose 2) God planned my life mission before I was born 3) Fulfilling my mission brings glory to God 4) My primary task in life is to fulfill my mission The goal of this class: That I commit the rest of my life to being a messenger of God's Good News to other people, and using my time, talents, and treasure for his Kingdom, regardless of where it leads or what it costs. |
