Online Giving FAQ

Is online giving secure?
Yes, all account information you enter is secure. No one has access to your data unless authorized by you.

Are there any hidden charges or fees?
No, as long as you have it drafted from your checking or savings account. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No costs or fees.  However, if you give via credit card or debit card the church will incur a fee.

What does donation frequency mean?
It means you can choose how often you would like an automatic donation to be made – one-time, weekly, every two weeks or monthly.

Why do I have to set up an account and password?
Setting up an account with a password allows you to enter the secure area of the web site for your transaction. Once your account and password are established, all of your personal information (including account numbers) is safe and protected.

Can I designate my gift to a particular department or ministry?
Every dollar given to our General Fund (non-designated) is used to support the overall mission of the church.  Please give your tithes, first and foremost,to the General Fund. If you want to give above and beyond to a specific ministry, for example Project Nehemiah, you can designate your gift.

What is the Project Nehemiah fund?
It is our fund set aside to payoff phase 1 of our building project and then spilling over to fund phase 2.

What is the Building Fund?

It is a fund set aside to offset costs of maintaining our current property and buildings and make improvements.

Can I post a reoccurring donation to more than one fund?
Yes. You just create more than one scheduled transaction – one for each fund.

Can I make a one-time online donation without scheduling a reoccurring transaction?
Yes. Just select the “one time” option under schedule frequency.

When is the contribution charged to my checking account or credit card?
Transactions usually take 2-3 business days, so contributions scheduled on Friday through Sunday may not show up on your account until early the following week.

What if I want to change my online giving or stop it?
At any time you can log into the system with your account name and password and make changes.

If I sign up to give online are you going to email me all the time?
No! We won’t bury you with unwanted email or pester you to give more. We may email you periodically, but only as necessary.
